| 2011Catalina Island Guided Deer Hunts |
| Wildlife West, Inc., is again offering guided California Mule Deer hunts to begin in September of 2011 on Catalina Island. In conjunction with the Catalina Island Conservancy and Wildlife West, Inc., fully guided deer hunts will be again offered for this truly unique hunting experience. This is an opportunity for deer hunters to get out on the Island and enjoy what the Island has to offer. We will still be conducting the three day guided hunts during the rut but will also add two day guided management buck hunts in the middle of November and two day doe management hunts in September. The management buck hunt will allow each hunter to take two does or one doe and one buck in which the guide will determine what buck is taken. This will be a small forked horn or a buck that is genetically inferior. During the doe hunts the hunter can harvest two does only.

| Wildlife West will be providing the accommodations for your hunt in the Island town of Avalon. All of our hunts will include private housing with all ammenities and meals. Each hunter just needs to bring personal gear, a firearm, coolers for taking home the game, and two 2011 deer tags or deer tag applications to be traded in for two Private Lands Management Deer Tags. All Hunter must shoot COPPER AMMUNITION. Most hunters arrive on Catalina Island by way of the ferry boats operated by Catalina Express (http://www.catalinaexpress.com). Each hunter must provide their own transportation on an off of the Island. Other transportation options include flying in to the Airport in the Sky, helicopter, or by private boat.

This Island gem in the Pacific Ocean is 48,000 acres in size and Wildlife West has access to hunt over 85% of the property. Our hunts this year will be three days of hunting over a four day period.
